Longing 4 a HOLIDAY

Listening to "Kidnapping Sandy Claws": An inspiring stop motion by Tim Burton, "The Nighmare Christmas" soundtrack. Indeed, with a click on the mouse, nothing seems too impossible to search though! haha, love the way Burton's portrayed his story in a dark yet humorous and meaningful way!

After a year of working, i began to miss those days in the college, where we can have all the time we want to explore and fulfill our curiosity. I felt that working life is not what i really wanted: the deadlines, the last minutes "bulky" projects from my art director, and most of all ( i hate the most): the "routine" work: name cards designs, rubberstamps, bills etc (with a DEFAULT design, where u have no room to explore the creativity). I will rather refer myself as a graphic artist then a graphic designer. "Designs" are set the way it should be to suit the client's needs, or rather, the things i "design" are based on the "templates" given. Basically, my works are plainly COPY and PASTE, and "following" the idea from my art director. I began to doubt about my academic achivement after a four years degree in my university. I am currently underpay, and most of the time, my minds just fly around when im doing all these things, trying to "hypnotize" myself, HAHA. I try my best to do all the things right... as i don't like repititious things. Sometime it is hard, but i really have to thank God that i had run so far :) At least a year or two to get experience before i leave this company. Ahhh, mayb become a SOHO clan, where i can be more flexible and designing things that i like, and trying new things out.

Now i just want a good holiday where i can rest well, recharge myself and go on through this life journey.

Thank God for a bunch of unique friends from church to support each other and pray for each other. Life just needs to go on to fulfill His purpose. :)
